Through this project, I focused on

archetypical garments.

The ones I concentrated on were; the white T-shirt, the tutu, and the royal military jacket. With these garments as a starting- and inspiration point I created a collection of 10 looks, of which 1 perfect toile. I studied these garments from shape to stitch-lines. I started making collages to find out ways to combine our archetypical garments. I wanted to find a balance between the neutral white T-shirt, the big tutu shape, and the abundance of details of the royal military jacket. How can these shapes be manipulated to create a new garment?
